FARO, the world’s leading provider of portable measurement, 3D documentation and imaging systems, will be exhibiting at The Infrastructure Show which will be taking place from 18th to 20th October at the NEC in Birmingham. The Infrastructure Show is the new exhibition that unites the civil engineering sector to demonstrate innovative techniques to increase efficiency, reduce carbon and drive down costs.
FARO will present its cutting edge laser scanning hardware and software. The laser scanners can capture up to 976,000 3D points per second. Compared with manual processing, the new version of the SCENE scan processing software enables users to post-process scans automatically up to 90% faster.
“Large surveys, such as 3D documentation of civil structures, require a significant investment of time and resources,” said James Needham, Regional Manager at Faro Technologies UK Ltd. “To remain cost-effective, such projects must be completed as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality of the output. Our laser scanners greatly enhance both the productivity and quality equations for our customers.”
FARO’s laser scanners are also ideally suited for excavation control, deformations control, facades inspection, structural analysis and maintenance, inspection of free-form components, built environment and monitoring construction progress.
